system theory

definition:

A system is any entity whose parts co-vary and that mantain a constant valance motivated by negative and positive feedback from the enviroment or the system itself.

types:

  1. living systems
  2. non-living systems

characteristics:

  • Every system presents certain organization and mantain some kind of balance or equilibrium.
  • This organization is active and works to mantain its structure.
  • They intruduce changes in its own behaviour based on the information that they own about the enviroment (feedback). This allows the system alter its activity, structure o direction with the purpose of prosecute with the achievement of their objectives.
  • They count with a hierarchical organization. It has been delegated to each member -explicitly or implicitly- an specific activity to execute with the purpose to make the system work.
